I enjoyed my experience here! I moved from the chaotic Iguana hostel just next door to this little sanctuary in the middle of Oaxaca City. The hostel beds were comfortable, had hot water and a decent kitchen. I wish that the room and bathroom was cleaned a bit more often but the family does have their hands full with lovely kids and it was an overall upgrade from the looks of other hostels in the city.

Great hostel that runs on the quiet side. Environmentally conscious but not over bearing. Chill common area and very easy to meet people. Fellow travelers were social and fun. Turned the lights out in the common area at 10pm which I'm totally cool with. Good breakfast included. Beds blankets slightly uncomfortable. Overall great stay!

One of the best hostel I have been to in my travels. Love the architecture charm and rooftop deck. The sound of rain makes it so nice to fall asleep. I’ll be back!

We loved it here. We stayed for about 4 nights and were very happy with a spacious room for 4 people. The shower was one of the nicest ones we've had in Mexico. The patio and little garden were a very nice touch. They have a nice terrace on the roof too. Definite recommend.

Very quiet hostel, a tranquil oasis in the centre of Oaxaca. 100% NOT a party hostel, the courtyard is a nice place to relax away from busy town centre. Good if you're planning to stay in the city for a while. Staff were extremely pleasant.

Very affordable prices, generously spacious rooms with a beautiful garden and convenient location. It’s so quiet, beautiful and peaceful.I stayed here for over a month because I liked it so much. Alan and Martin (staff) are also really friendly and helpful.

I actually slept the entire day here because it was quiet and respectful. What really stood out was how awesome the host was. He was very good. . Very accommodating anything you needed he was there to help. I went to other hostels that just didn't have the vibes of this place and their hosts were non-existent, but this man is very hard working and goes beyond the normal to help and provide for the guests. Also the women working were very nice and kept the place quite clean. There was smoking areas, a patio above, multiple showers, a cooking commune area, with refrigerator to keep your stuff. Was a great patio below with a water pool for fish and plants, seating area to meet other travelers from all over the world, who had great stories. I feel like the host understood traveling, he added extras that were not offered in other places, like keeping your stuff there even after the hours of check out, which was important for me as my flight back was very late, I was able to store my things there. Also my bus arrived very early in the morning, I slept in the bus station for a couple hours and I was able to check in at 7 which I very much appreciated because it had been a very long eventful night and it was nice to be able to enter the hostel and decompress. I didn't lock anything up and had zero problems. It was a comfortable stay and I appreciated the hospitality.
